Buick Leads Customer Satisfaction According to J.D. Power

As is the case every year around this time, J.D. Power has released the results of its customer satisfaction study. Unsurprisingly, several brands under the General Motors umbrella stood out from the crowd.

In the pickup truck category, Chevrolet ranks first, followed by GMC in second place. Cadillac isn’t at the top yet, but the luxury division managed to climb one spot compared to last year, moving from eighth to seventh. In the SUV segment, Buick takes first place, followed by GMC in second and Chevrolet in fourth.

GM brands also shined in the overall mass-market vehicle category, with GMC in fourth place, Chevrolet in second, and Buick at the very top of the podium.

A Serious Study

Evaluating customer satisfaction is no small task, but J.D. Power remains one of the most reputable organizations in this field. The American firm surveyed more than 32,600 customers before publishing its results.

The customer satisfaction study assesses several criteria, such as the brand’s website, the overall dealership experience, the paperwork involved, and even the dealership staff.

Buick on Top

To be perfectly honest, I’m not surprised to see Buick at the top of the customer satisfaction rankings. General Motors has always known how to take good care of its customers. More specifically for Buick, the division has significantly improved its brand image and the quality of its products in recent years. All of this has allowed Buick to excel not only in customer satisfaction, but also in reliability and initial quality studies. In short, now you know exactly which brand to consider for your next purchase.
