Buick: What Is the Most Expensive SUV for 2026?

Are you a fan of the Buick brand and looking to treat yourself? Let’s take a closer look at the most expensive model in the American automaker’s lineup.

Buick has built a solid reputation over the past few years thanks to bolder designs, capable powertrains, and cutting-edge technologies. The brand has shifted its approach, allowing it to significantly broaden its customer base.

Absolute Comfort

We often hear about the Encore, Envision, and Envista, but it’s important not to overlook the Enclave, a model that has been part of Buick’s lineup for 18 years. Like many of you, this SUV didn’t really resonate with me in the past, but that has completely changed since its most recent full redesign. The Enclave has finally adopted a design that lives up to its capabilities.

The Buick Enclave starts at $63,825, but saving money isn’t the goal here. What really interests us is the range-topping Avenir trim, which starts at $74,825. For that price, you get 22-inch wheels, more chrome than you’d find in a Harley-Davidson dealership, and much more. In fact, the Buick Enclave Avenir offers a level of equipment worthy of far more prestigious luxury models.

Under the hood, Buick’s SUV is powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent through an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Options

Buick is fairly reasonable when it comes to paint colors, as most are offered at no extra cost. The triple-coat white paint adds just $700 to the bill. The automaker also offers several option packages, including Super Cruise, priced at $4,595. Checking every available box brings the total price to $83,110.

In the end, for that amount, you get a well-rounded and luxurious SUV that has nothing to envy from major European luxury brands—at a significantly lower price.
