Chevrolet Bolt 2027: The Reveal Is Coming Soon

Chevrolet is one of the benchmark brands when it comes to electrification, and if the automaker has built such a solid reputation over the years, it’s thanks to the Bolt.

We don’t yet know the official date, but Chevrolet is getting ready to unveil the new Bolt, which will eventually hit the market as a 2027 model. The American automaker also took the opportunity to announce a massive $4 billion investment in its assembly plants in the U.S.—a colossal amount.

Plans Are Evolving

Like most manufacturers, General Motors had to revise its strategy for the coming years due to the tariffs imposed by the Trump administration. However, for the group, this also means going full steam ahead with the production of several electric models. While most EVs have recently seen a drop in popularity, that’s not the case for the Chevrolet Silverado EV, the GMC Sierra EV, the Cadillac Escalade IQ, and the GMC Hummer EV, which are all in high demand.

That said, these are all large vehicles, and General Motors wants to continue offering more affordable options to its customers. This is where the next-generation 2027 Chevrolet Bolt comes into play. We don’t know much about it yet, but we can certainly expect a more efficient battery and, therefore, better range. The Chevrolet Bolt has always stood out for its size and driving experience. Let’s just say this is a vehicle that generates a lot of excitement, and that’s precisely why the American automaker decided to bring it back to the lineup.

Although no price range has been confirmed for now, the new Chevrolet Bolt is expected to once again be the most affordable electric model across the entire General Motors portfolio. It will be unveiled this year, but we’ll likely have to wait until 2026 to see the first units arrive at dealerships.
